if you were god…

(revised post)

“An uninterpreted dream is like an unopened letter” -Talmud

If you were God would you leave the beings on this ragged little planet without a way to be in relationship with you…to stay in touch?

However helpful and wonderful books may be wouldn’t you want to leave them something that is more alive, experiential, visceral and intimately personal than words on a page?

However helpful and wonderful outer world teachers may be wouldn’t you want to leave your precious souls with a non-mediated way to be in relationship with you…to hear from you directly?

Might you leave open a portal where all souls could be in on-going communication with whatever they wanted to call you…God…Angels…Source…Spirit Guides…Davey?

Perhaps you’d call this portal ‘dreams’ and each and every night invite everyone into conversation and relationship with you.

Maybe this portal would come as a kind letter made up of images and strange language, incredible characters, objects and events. A letter(s) delivered each night in which you would encourage us to be with our unique dream images…take a breath into them until they revealed themselves as feelings…this most healing and sacred conversation of the night.

When shown a photograph of herself, the young French mystic

Thérèse of Lisieux said, “Yes, but this is only the envelope.

When will we see the letter? Oh, how I want to see the letter!”

And the decision to step through that portal…to open that envelope and receive  and absorb the letter inside is a freedom and a choice that each one of us makes every morning…

  1. Very beautiful!! Pretty much sums up my feelings on it. What a gift they are to be in direct communication and relationship with the greater source. Reminds me of the Jung quote “dreams are the mind of nature itself” deeper than mind in my opinion, but I hate when people try to add their flare upon other people’s words🤣🤣 so he said it just fine
